The Sudanese Football Association announced its support for the army and its supporting forces. Mutasim Jaafar expressed his gratitude to the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council
and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, for his kind congratulations to the national team (the Falcons of Jediane) on their qualification for the Arab Cup finals. He also thanked him for his generous support and significant incentive of $550,000 for the team and its technical and administrative staff, following their victory over Lebanon in the playoff match.
Jaafar emphasized that this continued support from the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council represents a major morale boost for the players and the technical and administrative staff, reflecting the leadership's commitment to the national team and its dedication to raising Sudan's flag at regional, continental, and international events.
The Association's president, Dr. Mutasim Jaafar, also expressed his appreciation to the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan.
He added that this support will be a great motivator for the players and the technical and administrative staff, and will serve as a strong incentive for the team to perform admirably in the tournament. The president of the federation also expressed his gratitude to the Sudanese fans in Qatar for their impressive turnout and strong support for the Falcons of Jediane, emphasizing that this unity provides an additional incentive to continue the journey and achieve results worthy of Sudan's name.
He reiterated his thanks and appreciation to President Burhan for his continued support, wishing the Falcons of Jediane success in the Arab Cup and the fulfillment of the Sudanese people's aspirations.
He stated that Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan's unwavering support and keen interest in the national team during the most difficult circumstances were key factors in the achievements of qualifying for the CHAN, CAN, and Arab Cup finals. He affirmed that the president's patronage of the team has remained constant despite the challenging conditions facing the country, reflecting his commitment to supporting the players, the administrative and technical staff, and providing an environment conducive to outstanding performance.
Dr. Mutasim Jaafar emphasized that this generous and continuous support serves as a powerful motivation for the Falcons of Jediane to maintain their honorable performance and achieve positive results that will bring joy to the Sudanese people. He added that the team will exert every effort to raise Sudan's flag high in the Arab Cup. He announced the athletes' support for the armed forces and their supporting forces in the joint forces of the armed struggle movements, the Sudan Shield Forces, the Al-Baraa bin Malik Brigade, and those mobilized in the Battle of Dignity to end the rebellion and liberate every inch of Sudanese land. He praised the sacrifices they have continued to make for the sake of the nation and its citizens, and prayed to God for a glorious victory for our homeland.
